How is Thndr licensed in the US market?

Who is Thndr and how is it regulated in the US market?

Thndr Financial Ltd is a Category 3A licensed firm, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) of the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM)

Can I verify the license?

You can verify Thndr’s license with the FSRA through the FSRA Public Register using our license number 240002.

How is my money safe?

Your funds and securities are held in accounts separate from Thndr’s operational funds. They are safeguarded by qualified custodians under FSRA custody rules, ensuring your assets are protected from misuse or third-party claims.

Where do I deposit and how does it flow to the U.S.?

Your funds are initially deposited into a UAE-based bank account, this is a regulated client account used strictly for transaction processing. Funds are then routed to our regulated U.S. broker-partner Alpac, ensuring compliance with U.S. market standards and regulatory oversight.

Who executes and safekeeps my U.S. trades?

Trades in the U.S. market are executed and held by Alpaca. Alpaca is Thndr’s partner that provides US Securities to Thndr users. Alpaca is a registered US broker-dealer with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA #: 288202) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC #: 8-69928).

Alpaca holds your securities under your name, not Thndr’s.

You will have full visibility and control over your account activity through our platform.
