What is Thndr Alpha?
Thndr Alpha gives you a personalized starter pack to begin investing.
Instead of recommending a single security, it suggests a full starter pack across equities, gold, and fixed income, based on your answers to a short quiz.
Who is Thndr Alpha for?
Thndr Alpha is designed mainly for users who:
- Don’t know where to start
- Prefer a simple, hands-off way to invest
- Want a ready-made plan instead of choosing products one by one
How does it work?
Step 1: Answer 3 quick questions
- Your investment goal
- Your comfort with risk
- Whether you may need the money in the next year
Your answers determine how the starter pack is allocated across:
- Equity
- Gold
- Savings/Fixed Income
Step 2: Get your starter pack.
A suggested mix of an Equity Fund, Fixed Income Fund, and Gold Fund, with clear explanations of each one.
Step 3: Adjust your starter pack
You can adjust it if you want by changing the allocations in 5% steps until the total equals 100%.
Step 4: Set your investment amount
This can be monthly or a one-time amount.
Once you set your amount, Thndr Alpha will show you how it would have performed over the past 5 years.
Step 5: Invest in your starter pack!
Submit your order, orders will be executed based on each fund’s execution timeline.
What’s included in the starter pack?
Every starter pack includes three components:
- Stocks: For long-term growth
- Gold: To help protect value and reduce volatility
- Savings/Fixed Income Funds: To maintain liquidity and stability
These three together create a balanced starting point for new investors.
How accurate is the past performance shown?
The performance uses historical data that represents each asset class:
- EGX100 for equities
- EGX gold prices for gold
- IMF deposit rates for fixed income
Actual mutual fund performance will differ due to dividends, fees, and other factors.
