What are Savings Clouds?
Savings Clouds are designed to help you save and organize your money more effectively.
Each Cloud is a customizable savings category where you can allocate money toward different financial goals such as travel, education, marriage, or emergencies.
You can create multiple Clouds, name them based on your goals, and distribute your savings between them.
Currently, there are two types of Savings Clouds on Thndr:
1. Instant Savings
Instant Savings Clouds are designed for flexibility and quick access to your money.
Features:
- Withdraw your money anytime with no fees
- Suitable for short-term goals, emergency funds or savings you may need quickly
Instant Savings Clouds are linked to Thndr Savings, a Sharia compliant mutual fund.
2. Monthly Savings
Monthly Savings Clouds offer a higher yield by committing to monthly access.
They are suitable for medium-term financial goals, such as travel or marriage.
Withdrawal options

- Schedule your withdrawal before the last Sunday of the month
- The withdrawal will be processed within 2 working days
Instant withdrawal
- Available anytime
- 0.25% fee on the withdrawn amount
Monthly Savings Clouds are managed by Thndr Asset Management.
Please note: Monthly Savings is not yet classified as Sharia compliant.
How can I use Savings Clouds?
Clouds help you organize your savings by financial goal.
You can:
- Create multiple Clouds
- Name them based on your goals
- Allocate savings across them
- Move money between Clouds as your priorities change
For example, you can create separate Clouds for:
- Travel
- Emergency savings
- Future expenses
How do I add money to my Clouds?
You can add money to Savings Clouds in two ways:
From the Savings Wallet: create a new Cloud and top it up directly
From the Investment Wallet: Tap Transfer to move money into one of your Clouds
You can switch between the Investment Wallet and the Savings Wallet using the toggle at the top of the screen.
What kind of gains will I see in my Clouds?
Your gains depend on the performance of the underlying fund linked to each Cloud type.
As the price of the fund certificate increases, the value of your savings increases as well.
Gains are:
- Calculated daily
- Reflected in your savings value based on the fund’s performance.
How often are my gains updated?
The fund certificate price is updated daily, which means the value of your savings is updated regularly so you can always see the most recent value of your funds.
Can I withdraw money from my Clouds anytime?
Withdrawal depends on the type of Cloud.
Instant Savings
- Withdraw anytime with no fees
Monthly Savings
- Free withdrawal if scheduled before the last Sunday of the month
- Instant withdrawal anytime with a 0.25% fee
