What is the AZ LV Fund?
AZ LV Fund is an equity fund designed to deliver returns close to the EGX35-LV Index by investing in the index constituents while maintaining the same index weights.
What does the AZ LV Fund invest in?
AZ LV primarily invests in companies that are part of the EGX35-LV index, a group of liquid Egyptian stocks selected for their lower price volatility.
The fund aims to build a more stable, lower-risk equity portfolio, following the investment guidelines below:
- Minimum equity exposure: 90% of the fund
- Maximum per stock: 15%

What is the EGX35-LV Index?
The EGX35-LV Index tracks the least volatile stocks in the Egyptian market. It includes liquid companies whose prices move more steadily and with fewer fluctuations, making it suitable for lower-risk equity strategies. The EGX35-LV:
- Includes companies across 13 economic sectors for diversification
- Companies are selected based on the lowest daily price volatility over the past year
- All companies must already be part of the EGX100 Index

How do I place a buy order?
- Open the Thndr app and tap Explore
- Search for “AZ LV Fund”
- Open the fund page
- Tap Buy and enter the amount you want to invest (Minimum 5 certificates)
Buying & Selling
Orders are submitted daily at 1:00 PM.
Orders placed before 1:00 PM are submitted the same day.
Orders placed after 1:00 PM are submitted the next business day.
Fees
Standard transaction fees apply to all buy and sell orders
Fund management fees are calculated in the certificate price & not charged directly when buying or selling.

The fund is managed by Azimut Egypt, one of the largest asset managers in Egypt with over 20 years of experience with Assets under Management exceeding EGP 34.8 Billion.
What are the risks?
Although focusing on low volatility stocks, AZ LV Fund is an equity fund and all equity investments come with risks.
