Afaaq (AAF) is an open-ended fixed income fund aiming to preserve capital while generating income through investments in diversified fixed income and debt instruments.
The fund is open for daily subscription and redemption.
What does Afaaq (AAF) invest in?
Afaaq invests primarily in fixed income instruments, including:
- Treasury Bills, Treasury Bonds and government securities (Up to 95% of the fund’s portfolio)
- Corporate Bonds (Up to 65% of the fund’s portfolio)

The fund is managed by Arab African Investment Management (AAIM), a Leading Asset Manager in Egypt with 35 Billion EGP in assets under management as of September 2024.
How do I collect my Afaaq (AAF) returns?
The live certificate price of AAF reflects the profit or return achieved by the fund’s investments.
To collect your earnings, simply sell your AAF certificates through the Thndr app.
Is Afaaq (AAF) Shari’a compliant?
Afaaq is not marketed as a Sharia compliant fund.

Orders placed before 10:30 AM are sent & executed the same working day.
Orders placed after 10:30 AM are sent & executed on the next working day.
