Supported Order Types
Choose the type of order that best fits your strategy:
- Market Order: Executes right away at the best available price
- Limit Order: Executes only at the price you set (or better)
Advanced Conditions
For more control over how your order is filled:
- All or None (AON): The order fills only if the full quantity is available
- Minimum Fill: Executes only if a minimum quantity can be filled
- Immediate or Cancel (IOC): Fills as much as possible right away, cancels the rest
- Fill or Kill (FOK): Fills the entire order immediately or cancels it altogether
Time in Force (Expiry Options)
You decide how long your order stays active:
- Good Till Day: Expires at the end of the trading day
- Good Till Cancel: Stays active until you cancel it
- Good Till Date: Remains active until the date you choose
Can I Modify or Cancel My Order?
Yes, as long as it hasn’t been executed yet, you can change or cancel your order.
What Affects Order Execution Priority?
Your order’s place in the execution queue depends on several factors, according to EGX rules:
- Price: Better-priced orders go first
- Time: If prices match, the earlier order gets priority
- Restrictions: Orders with fewer conditions (e.g. no AON or IOC) get processed sooner
- Source: Orders matched within the same brokerage get lower priority
