Report a Concern
Thndr expects honest conduct from everyone who works here, at every level. If you think something has happened that falls short of that, tell us. We would rather hear about it and find nothing than not hear about it.
What to report
Use this address if you believe any of the following has happened, or is about to:
- Fraud, theft, bribery or corruption
- Misuse of client money or client assets
- Insider dealing, market manipulation or other market abuse
- False or misleading financial records and reporting
- Breaches of law, regulation, or Thndr’s own policies
- Unauthorised access to or disclosure of customer or company data
- Harassment, discrimination, or abusive or unsafe behaviour
- Pressure on anyone to stay quiet about any of it
You can report about anyone, at any level, including senior management and the board.
What not to send here
This is not customer support. Questions about your account, a trade, a deposit or a withdrawal need the support team. Anything sent here about those will get you no answer.
How to report
Email [email protected]
Tell us as much as you can:
- what happened, and why you think it was wrong
- when and where
- who was involved
- anyone else who might know
- documents, messages, screenshots or reference numbers, if you have them
- whether you have already raised it with someone
You do not need proof and you do not need to be sure. An honest belief that something is wrong is enough. Working out what actually happened is our job.
Reporting anonymously
You can leave your name out.
One practical warning: email carries the address it was sent from. If you need to be genuinely anonymous, send it from an account that is not linked to you, and leave out details that would point back to you.
Giving us a way to reach you helps a lot. We can ask follow-up questions and tell you how it ended. We still investigate anonymous reports, but there is a limit to what we can establish when we cannot come back to you.
Confidentiality
We treat your identity as confidential and share it only with the people who need it to investigate. We will not go beyond that without your agreement unless the law requires it, and if that happens we will tell you where we are allowed to.
Retaliation
No one at Thndr may retaliate against you for raising a concern honestly, or for taking part in an investigation. That covers dismissal, disciplinary action, demotion, cuts to pay or hours, and the less visible forms such as being excluded, pressured or frozen out.
Retaliation is itself a disciplinary matter and gets treated as one. If it happens to you, write to the same address.
If you raise something honestly and it turns out you were mistaken, nothing happens to you. Deliberately making a false report is a different matter.
What happens next
We acknowledge your report within five business days, if you have given us a way to reply.
Then we decide what it needs. Some concerns are settled quickly. Others go to a full investigation, run by people with no connection to what is being reported. Anyone named is treated fairly and gets a chance to respond.
When it is finished, we act on what we found, and we tell you the outcome as far as confidentiality and other people’s rights allow.
Who reads your report
Reports go to Thndr’s compliance team. If a report concerns senior management, or independence requires it, it goes instead to the board committee responsible for audit and risk, without passing through anyone it involves.
Going outside Thndr
You do not have to come to us first. You can raise a concern directly with the regulator or authority in your jurisdiction. Nothing on this page changes that or affects the protections described here.
